This app is called Libib: Book Scanner. It is an app you can download on your phone. It can catalog all the books on your book shelf that you can carry with you. You can categorize them based off of anything you can think of. The purpose of this app is to be able to avoid double buying books that you can not remember if having it. I use it when I go into any place that sells books.
The app is easy to work, but like anything with me and technology, I have to fiddle with it. To log your books, all you have to do is scan the barcode. For older books or ones without barcodes, you can manually put in the information. Books are not the only things you can categorize within the app. You can scan barcodes of video games, puzzles, and board games. There are physical scanners you can get on amazon.com to scan the books or use the app that connects to the phone’s camera.
The apps are free in the App Store or Google Play.
I am a person who loves to read physical books, but sometimes I can not just sit and read. I use Audible to listen to the books I can not read. I mostly use it for the books I have to read for school. Being able to listen to them while I am at work is convenient. I have the lowest subscription which is less than $10 a month and buy whatever books I want. I still like it.
